In Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead Guildenstern and Rosencrantz play the question game. The reason these too naive fella play this game is because they do not know where they came from and can only ask quetions. This can help them further their thinking and determine where they might have come from to get answers from others. OR asking questions like dumb heads can bring back memories they've forgotten about.
A little off topic, but having two names for one person (example: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are the same person) that's a little insane in the membrane.
